Deputy Lead Midwife — Specialist Maternity
I qualified as a midwife in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery. Since then, I have dedicated the majority of my career to working within the Delivery Suite and High Dependency Unit, where I developed a strong passion for supporting women with high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions.
This experience ignited a deeper interest in fetal medicine, leading me to become part of the specialist team at the West Midlands Fetal Medicine Centre. I have always been committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that supports women and their families.
Motivated by a desire to improve care on a broader scale, I wanted to explore the standardisation of practice and the reduction of regional inequalities. I believe that every woman should have access to the same high standard of care, regardless of their location. This commitment has led me to my current role, having joined the West Midlands Perinatal Network in May 2025.
