Gerard Millen
Children and Young Person's Cancer Clinical Lead
Dr Gerard Millen is a paediatric oncology consultant at Birmingham Children's Hospital. He trained in the West Midlands and completed a clinical trials fellowship at the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Birmingham.
He has special interest in clinical trials and the care of children with retinoblastoma. He is the UK lead investigator on a number of studies including the SACHA study which attempts to collect real world data on compassionate/off-label use of novel anti-cancer medicines in children and young people.
