Harsha Gowda
Deputy Clinical Lead — Workforce and Education
Dr Harsha Gowda is currently a Consultant Neonatologist and Clinical Service Lead at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. He also holds regional and national leadership roles in neonatal medicine and education.
Regionally, he serves as the Training Programme Director for Neonatal Teaching in the West Midlands Deanery and is Chair of the West Midlands Neonatal Network Guidelines Group. Nationally, he is the Neonatal SPIN Lead for the RCPCH and Co-Lead for education in NeoFOCUS-UK a special interest group of BAPM. His clinical interests include neonatal cardiology, POCUS, preterm stabilisation and genomics.
Dr Gowda is Principal Investigator for the Generation study and has led numerous audits and QIP within Neonatology and Paediatrics. He has presented widely at national & international conferences and has contributed to multiple publications in neonatal medicine."
