Neonatal Guidelines
The West Midlands Perinatal Network works closely with the Bedside Clinical Guidelines Partnership to develop and publish evidence-based, peer-reviewed guidelines. These guidelines follow a three-year review cycle, during which authorship is updated and a thorough peer review ensures the content remains current and relevant.
If you are part of the West Midlands Perinatal Network, the Neonatal Guidelines have been sent to your Guidelines Lead and will be made available via your Trust’s intranet. For the first time, the 2025–2028 Guidelines will be published online, and a link will be shared with your Guidelines Lead once they are available.
If you experience any issues accessing the guidelines, please contact bwc.wmnodn@nhs.net.
Each unit within the West Midlands will be asked to complete an adoption form confirming whether they have adopted the guidelines. If a unit decides not to adopt any of the guidelines, the form provides an opportunity to explain why, allowing feedback to be shared with the authors for possible updates. This adoption form will be sent to the Network Guideline Lead for each unit.
If you have not received the form, please reach out to bwc.wmnodn@nhs.net.
